1. WaterApply's Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, source code, design, text, graphics, brand, trademarks, service marks, logos, sound, video, the "WaterApply" name and wordmark, and the selection and arrangement of all of the above, is owned by WaterApply or its licensors. It is protected by Canadian, U.S., and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in our Terms of Service, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. You may not:
- Use the WaterApply name, logo, or any confusingly similar mark without our prior written permission.
- Imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation by WaterApply without authorization.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice on the Service or its outputs.
2. Your Intellectual Property
You retain all rights in your User Content (including your master resume, job postings you save, and outputs generated for you). You grant WaterApply a limited licence to host and process that content as described in Section 5.3 of our Terms of Service.
3. AI-Generated Outputs
Outputs generated by the Service from your User Content are made available for your use subject to the Terms of Service. You acknowledge:
- AI outputs are not necessarily unique. Other users may receive substantially similar outputs from similar inputs.
- The legal status of copyright in AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. WaterApply makes no representation as to whether any particular AI output is eligible for copyright protection.
- To the extent any rights in AI outputs vest in us by operation of law, we assign them to you on a non-exclusive basis subject to your compliance with these policies.
4. Open Source Components
The Service may include components licensed under open-source licences. Those components remain governed by their respective licences. A list of significant components and their licences is available on request to waterapply1@gmail.com.
5. Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant WaterApply a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without any obligation to you. We do not consider feedback to be confidential.
6. Copyright Infringement Claims
WaterApply respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Takedown Policy for the procedure to submit a notice. We respond to valid notices in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and Canadian copyright law.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts that are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices may be terminated. We maintain records of takedown notices in accordance with applicable law.
8. Brand Use by Third Parties
